Relationships and Health Education

At Redlands, we have recently reviewed our PSHE curriculum. We are continuing to base our teaching on the Jigsaw scheme which as been a very successful program for the children of Redlands. We are conscious that the day to day influences that affect children are continually changing and that in addition to the basis that Jigsaw provides, we need a responsive curriculum which meets the needs of our children.

Our curriculum is wide ranging PSHE curriculum including Relationship and Sex Education (RSE). We provide clear communication to parents about what is taught in RSE lessons. Before a unit of work is completed we contact parents in to outline the content of the lessons and share any resources that we will use.
