Homework Over view

Autumn Home work Year 6  

We arrived at 1 pm… great journey, wonderful children . The children have settled into their bedrooms and had a tour of the hotel. First activity is Obstacle Course … we are ready. 

The children had a LONG night walk and were very excited to get to bed. They settled well, reading or going straight to sleep. We only had to wake one room up this morning at 7 am, the rest were dressed and ready for the day. They had a hearty breakfast… cooked breakfast, piles of toast and cereal. They are now fencing /archery and then have wide games. 
EVeryone is happy and full of enthusiasm- including us!  Delightful children.

A really busy Tuesday .. more fencing and archery, compass work and low ropes. High excitement with donuts for tea and the disco tonight!

Wednesday- had to wake 5/6 bedrooms this morning- a lot of sleep - climbing wall and then compass or blind trail before lunch. Lots of children conquering their fears this morning. 

An amazing afternoon on the lake. The children canoed around the lake, played games and some had a dip. Plenty of showers and a big tea with cookies. 

This evening was blind trail and climbing in the dark.

Thursday- lots of sleep.. everyone was asleep by 9.30 and woken at 7am. We have been out on the field all morning doing team games and then orienteering. The children are exhausted and now ready for another huge lunch. 
Hill walk this afternoon- could be soggy- but it will be good to get them out in the hills. 

The children had a real treat this afternoon with a long, wet hill walk. They survived the weather as you see from there happy, vibrant faces!

The children were very lively for their final evening of activities- the low ropes in the dark and pouring rain was brilliant.. and we met a frog named Fred!

All asleep by 9.30 again !
