Lunchtime Controller- Redlands Primary School
Hours: 1 hour 30 minutes per day, 11.45-1.15 daily, term time only
PayScale: RG2b scp 3 - 4 (£24,027 - £24,404 per annum) pro-rata for part time staff

1 x vacancy for 4 hours 30 minutes per week (11.45am – 1.15 pm every Monday, Wednesday and Friday)
1 x vacancy for 7 hours 30 minutes per week (11.45am – 1.15 pm daily, 5 days a week)
We wish to recruit two lunchtime controllers to work term time only.
Redlands is a friendly, multi-cultural school in the heart of East Reading. We are looking for committed team players to join our team to ensure our pupils enjoy a happy and safe lunchtime break.
The successful candidates will have excellent communication skills with young children and the ability to work under their own initiative as well as part of an established team. Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage. Appropriate training will be available.

School Caretaker – Redlands Primary School
To start ASAP - Permanent 37 hour per week (52 weeks a year)
Monday- Friday 6.30-9.30am & 2.00-6.30pm (Fri 2.00-6.00pm)
Grade/Salary RG3 5 - 7 (Actual salary £24,790 - £25,584 p.a.)
Are you a dedicated and reliable individual looking for a fulfilling full-time opportunity? Redlands Primary School is seeking a School Caretaker to join our vibrant and supportive community.
Responsibilities include:
- Day to day security and maintenance of the building.
- Health & safety, fire safety and statutory compliance including undertaking safety audits and risk assessments and ensuring regular health & safety checks are completed e.g. fire alarms, emergency lighting and Legionella testing.
- Liaising with contractors
- Overseeing the cleaning staff
- Requirements:
Previous caretaking experience preferred but not essential. - Experience of joinery, plumbing, painting, repairs and maintenance would be an advantage but not essential
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Good communication skills.
- Availability for flexible working
